After many years of experience in the field of translation, since 2021 I have been mainly involved in translating theatre scripts.
I take great care and attention in producing translations, taking into account the era in which the text is set, any puns, the relationships between the characters, and always trying to make the dialogue sound spontaneous so that it does not come across as fake or unnatural.
I translate texts of very different genres by well-known authors, such as Georges Feydeau and George Bernard Shaw, and by contemporary authors who are not very well known in Italy but are becoming widely known abroad.
In some cases, I personally select the texts to be translated in order to promote awareness or rediscovery of that particular author.
All translations are registered with the SIAE (Italian Society of Authors and Publishers) and I always operate in full compliance with copyright laws.
