Orgoglio di presidente

A prime minister, belonging to an ultra-traditionalist political party, hides from his electorate and associates that he is a homosexual and has been in a stable extramarital relationship with a man of low culture for the past seven years. In a comical and desperate attempt not to lose his privileges, he will have to deal with his complicated relationship with his lover, a wife who only eats croquettes, an ambitious female first vice president, a homophobic second vice president, and a meddlesome female journalist.
Xavi Morató portrays a political class whose mentality is well known to all, willing to engage in any subterfuge so as not to lose the trust of voters and very little interested in dealing with the problems of a country that is falling apart. Yet, despite this knowledge, the audience cannot help but laugh unrestrainedly at the vicissitudes of a joke Prime Minister who fully reflects a reality that unfortunately many citizens are familiar with.
