A diverse group of people, including a poet, a scientist, a lover and his girlfriend, arrive at a mysterious inn, located in an undefined place at the edge of the world, and are welcomed by a bizarre and good-natured old man. Each, in their own way, is searching for happiness, but inside the inn it is easy to lose one’s sense of reality.
A fantasy in three scenes that speaks of human beings, their fragility, their despicable behaviour and their courage to go against social impositions when they oppress us.
Percival Wilde, an American author and great expert in writing short plays and stories with unpredictable psychological twists, was also highly appreciated by Alfred Hitchcock.
