Un bagno casalingo

Laurence wants to take a bath, but since her house does not have a bathroom, she asks the maid and her husband’s nephew to prepare the bathtub in the anteroom. Meanwhile, her husband makes up an excuse to visit his mistress. As she is about to get into the bathtub, Laurence has a slight fainting fit and goes to lie down. Not wanting to waste the hot water, the maid decides to take a bath herself, but at that moment Laurence’s husband returns and, not having found her lover, thinks to take advantage of the bath. In the darkness he mistakes the maid for his wife, who in the meantime reappears and finds the maid in her husband’s arms. Enraged, Laurence threatens to leave and tries to seduce his nephew in revenge. After embarrassing attempts at seduction and fake threats of a duel, the couple are reconciled and the maid can quietly resume her work.
