Il tacchino

A gentleman follows Lucienne, a young lady, home and discovers she is the wife of one of his best friends. Unwilling to give in at all, the suitor swears to the woman that he can prove that her husband is unfaithful to her, obtaining a night of love from her in return. Lucienne, meanwhile, met Mrs Pontagnac, his suitor’s wife, and the two allied themselves to take revenge on their adulterous husbands. In the hotel room, booked by Lucienne’s husband to meet his mistress, a whole series of characters (including a deaf old lady, a jealous Marseillaise man and a retired general who is attracted by the maids) meet diabolically with clashes, escapes and tangled entanglements that create great hilarity.
