Mais une fois \u00e0 l&#8217;int\u00e9rieur, il est poursuivi par l&#8217;autre domestique et, apr\u00e8s s&#8217;\u00eatre r\u00e9fugi\u00e9 dans la chambre de sa ma\u00eetresse , il r\u00e9appara\u00eet d\u00e9guis\u00e9 en femme. Les propri\u00e9taires le confondent avec la nouvelle nourrice qui est venue s&#8217;occuper de leur b\u00e9b\u00e9 et l&#8217;allaiter. Balivet tente de s&#8217;\u00e9chapper mais, comme auparavant, il est bloqu\u00e9 par le domestique qui est tomb\u00e9 amoureux de lui d\u00e9guis\u00e9 . Il est donc oblig\u00e9 de faire divers travaux m\u00e9nagers et de coudre. Finalement, un t\u00e9l\u00e9gramme annon\u00e7ant le retard de la vraie nourrice \u00e9claircira la situation, et Balivet, \u00e0 sa grande joie, sera expuls\u00e9 de la maison.
